Records can support HACCP traceability and applicable D.S. Nº 977/96 MINSAL controls. Compliance depends on the process, validation and management of the establishment.

Does it replace the cold room thermometer?
The sensor measures temperature continuously and sends it to Xpit Connect every 10 minutes, so you no longer need to read the thermometer and write it down. You can keep the unit’s thermometer as an on-site reference.
Does cold chain monitoring depend on the site WiFi?
The solution can use LoRaWAN sensors and gateways with 4G connectivity independent of site WiFi. Coverage and configuration are validated during the site assessment.
What happens when temperature moves outside the agreed range?
Xpit Connect records the event and can send alerts according to configured thresholds and duration. Your team defines the owners and corrective actions for each operation.
